What you need to know

Best practices: You can help slow the spread of the coronavirus by staying home when possible, physically distancing yourself from others, and practicing good hygiene like washing your hands regularly.

Masks on campus: Everyone is required to wear a mask on campus (including visitors). Masks are effective and essential in reducing transmission; simply put, your mask protects you and others nearby. You may be asked to leave your classroom (or campus) if you aren’t wearing a mask in a public space.

Travel: IU recommends limiting travel as much as possible. If you need to travel, you should still follow IU’s recommendations for mask-wearing and physical distancing. And if you’re coming to campus from an international location, you’ll need to follow CDC guidance for returning from travel.
